 The
Champagnes of Michel Arnould & Fils are all 100% Grand Cru
with the Pinot Noir coming from their vineyards in Verzenay
on the famed "Montagne de Reims" and the Chardonnay
from their vineyards in Cramant on the Grand Cru "Côte
de Blanc". The vineyards in Verzenay are considered among
the best vineyards in the Champagne region as the northerly
orientation of the vineyards benefits from the action of the
cold on the yeast, which produces more and better-formed bubbles.
This family owned business produces Champagnes that consistently
win awards and earn high ratings in the French wine press.
The Brut Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir and is produced
entirely in Verzenay. The rosé is produced from wines
made from selected vintages and blended with red coteaux champenois
made from their own vineyards. This latter wine is made from
Pinot noir from old vines, and then processed in old oak barrels.
This Champagne rests for 3 years on the lees before it is released
for sale, which gives it rich aromas that marry well with the
fresh fruit bouquet. This is an incredibly rich and complex
rosé that stands with the great Champagnes at an affordable
price.
This is excellent Champagne for an aperitif or with appetizers
or hors d'oeuvres.
