 The
Champagnes of Michel Arnould & Fils are all 100% Grand Cru
with the Pinot Noir coming from their vineyards in Verzenay
on the famed "Montagne de Reims" and the Chardonnay
from their vineyards in Cramant on the Grand Cru "Côte
de Blanc". The vineyards in Verzenay are considered among
the best vineyards in the Champagne region as the northerly
orientation of the vineyards benefits from the action of the
cold on the yeast, which produces more and better-formed bubbles.
This family owned business produces Champagnes that consistently
win awards and earn high ratings in the French wine press.
The Brut Réserve is made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30%
Chardonnay. The Chardonnay comes from Verzenay and Cramant while
all the Pinot Noir is produced in Verzenay. The wine rests for
3 years on the lees before it is released for sale, which gives
this reserve rich aromas that marry well with the fresh fruit
bouquet, and a classic creamy body well-balanced with fruit
flavors and crisp acidity.
This is excellent Champagne for an aperitif or with appetizers
or hors d'oeuvres.
