The
house of Herard & Fluteau was founded in 1935 by Emile Herard
and his son-in-law, Georges Fluteau and future generations of
the family have inherited the dedication and flair of these
two men. The 8 hectare vineyard is situated on the Cote des
Bar in the southern Aube district of the Champagne appellation.
On their sunny hillsides, they grow essentially Pinot Noir whith
thrives there and renowned for giving body and texture to the
wine.
The Brut Carte Blanche is 100% Pinot Noir which is aged for
2 years on its lees to amplify the fruit and structure and provide
balance to the wine. The "house" wine of Fluteau,
one finds a well-balanced bubbly with aromas of flowers and
full fruit of Pinot Noir.
A crisp and fruity champagne with elegance and body that truly
shows the character of its region of origin and the skills of
the producer. An excellent product at an equally attractive
price.
